Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Remote)
Position Overview
Mantra Health is seeking a Wisconsin Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual therapy to college students. This is a fully remote, Fee-for-Service (FFS) 1099 position within the US. We are dedicated to revolutionizing student mental health care by providing universal access to high-quality mental health services.

- Flexible: Choose your own set schedule.
- Weekday Shifts: Work anytime between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm Eastern Time.
- Weekend Shifts: Work anytime on Saturdays and Sundays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Eastern Time.
- Commitment: Minimum 5 hours of commitment requested, with the ability to flex up and down based on student volumes.
- Availability: Summer hours are available but not required. Weekend and evening availability is preferred but not required.
Compensation
- Intake Session (60-minutes): $141 per session completed
- Follow-up Session (30-minutes): $47 per session completed
- No-Shows: $50 for intake no-shows, $25 for follow-up no-shows
- Meetings: $100 per hour for attending NP collaborative meetings and all-hands meetings
Responsibilities
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will:
- Conduct high-quality, culturally competent virtual psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments.
- Perform biopsychosocial intakes focused on whole-person care with clear diagnostic assessments.
- Engage with patients through our collaboration portal.
- Collaborate with supervisors, peers, and on-campus treatment providers.
- Document clinical encounters for effective care coordination.
- Partner with our care navigation team to support students.
- Collaborate with campus care teams to create longer-term treatment plans when necessary.
Requirements
- License: Valid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Wisconsin. Multi-state licensure is an added advantage.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in an outpatient community mental health setting.
- Expertise: Proficiency in treating common mental health conditions among college-aged students, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
- Cultural Competency: Understanding of culturally responsive treatment and experience with diverse patient groups.
- Risk Assessment: Comfort in assessing the urgency of escalating risk scenarios.
- Technology: A quality video camera and a stable internet connection are required for virtual care.
