A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in welding inspection is required, preferably with stainless steel and precision fabrications, along with a high school diploma or GED (technical certificate or associate degree preferred).
This is an onsite position.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) through AWS is preferred, and Visual Testing (VT) is required with MT, PT, or UT preferred.
Proficiency in weld inspection techniques including visual inspection, dimensional checks, and NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT); knowledge of welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW) and materials; ability to read engineering drawings and identify discontinuities.
