10+ years of financial industry experience. Proven experience in institutional relationship management
Knowledge or proficiency in public and private markets assets and across a wide range of investment vehicles a plus
Prior experience in investing, portfolio management, research role a plus
BA/BS in any field, preferably in Finance, Economics or Accounting. MBA/CFA a plus, but not required
Role will require candidate to obtain regulatory licenses AMIB level III
Responsibilities
Manage key client relationships and drive engagement with CIOs and portfolio managers to identify and pursue new potential business and retain existing business
Understand client portfolios and risk management capabilities to design solutions that best enhance their risk-return profile
Be a consistent student of the markets to help clients manage risk amidst existing market conditions
Understand different regulations and drive ad-hoc projects for the team’s growth strategy
Drive new revenue opportunities across products and client types
Develop and execute strategy to uncover and develop mandates that will have the most commercial impact
Develop product fluency across the BlackRock platform
Working in partnership in full cooperation with BLK colleagues as a team is paramount. The candidate must collaborate with team members across BlackRock to meet clients’ needs and objectives and develop innovative solutions that bring the best of BlackRock
