Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting or finance desirable
Certified public accountant designation preferred
6-10 years combined experience in investment management or financial services audit, or significant experience within a financial reporting environment at a fund administrator
Relevant working knowledge of accounting issues affecting the asset management industry
1940 Act investment management industry experience preferred

Responsibilities
Carry out analytical, quantitative, and qualitative reviews of financial information, ensuring BlackRock policies and quality standards are maintained
Partner with senior leaders to resolve any queries from auditors and regulators addressed to BlackRock
Present results and findings from reporting cycles and various ad hoc memos to senior leadership
Assess service quality of third-party vendors, identify areas for improvement, and lead any enhancements in service delivery and quality of work product
Support the continual development of the reporting operating model to optimize efficiency, mitigate risk, and incorporate business and product changes
Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple internal and external partners including fund administrators and auditors
Analyze changes to accounting standards and regulations and implement technology and operational enhancements to satisfy new requirements
