Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in verification and test for control systems, avionics, automotive, robotics, or other safety-critical domains (New graduates with strong relevant project or internship experience encouraged)
  • Hands-on experience executing tests in HiL/SiL or similar environments and working with integrated electromechanical systems
  • Strong skills in test development and planning: writing test cases/procedures, defining data collection and pass/fail logic, and generating reports
  • Working knowledge of requirements traceability, configuration management, and defect tracking
  • Proficiency with scripting and data analysis (e.g., Python; MATLAB/Simulink a plus)
  • Familiarity with aerospace and safety practices (e.g., ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-178C/DO-254) or comparable safety-critical processes
  • Practical lab skills and a safety-first mindset; organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with hands-on hardware work
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to verification of the flight control system and integration with key subsystems, including inceptors, flight control computers, guidance/navigation/control algorithms, propulsion motors, batteries, and actuators
  • Execute tests across SiL/HiL, benches, and integrated system rigs, including configurations that combine the flight control computer, batteries, and electric propulsion
  • Author test cases, procedures, and scripts with clear pass/fail criteria; maintain traceability to system and software requirements
  • Collaborate with system architects and discipline engineers to refine test plans, review results, and resolve discrepancies
  • Drive repeatability and rigor in the labs by improving how we develop procedures, record results, and control hardware/software configurations
  • Plan and run test campaigns; produce concise reports, dashboards, and coverage summaries that communicate status and risk
  • Support the setup, maintenance, and organization of lab equipment; help ensure a safe, well-managed, and productive test environment
  • Build and maintain data acquisition and visualization pipelines to accelerate analysis and decision making
  • Automate test execution and regression suites; contribute to continuous integration and test infrastructure
  • Document lab tools, instruments, and user guidelines; provide onboarding and day-to-day support for lab users
  • Participate in issue triage and root-cause investigations; file and track defects to closure with engineering owners
