Skills in test data analysis, technical guidance, and problem-solving
Experience in lab infrastructure development, equipment procurement, commissioning, maintenance, and calibration
Proficiency in project management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
Responsibilities
Lead, guide, and train a team of validation engineers and technicians in evaluation, implementation, and execution of validation tests
Monitor team performance on project critical key characteristics, adjust staffing and methods to achieve goals, and handle resource planning
Ensure team’s process compliance, guide development process implementation, monitoring, and improvements
Support hiring, interview candidates, set goals, conduct performance reviews, manage team skill sets, training, and development plans
Actively assist or provide direction to the team, support open communication, budgeting, and financial tasks
Manage validation projects including planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting; coordinate and track activities to align with milestones and deadlines
Participate in procurement and commissioning of new test benches, equipment, and instrumentation; support lab infrastructure development (layout, utilities)
Drive validation process throughout product development cycle, manage critical path timing issues
Analyze test data, compare against technical requirements in Polarion, provide technical guidance to design team
Ensure proper documentation of test procedures, results, and 8D reports in compliance with standards
Maintain and calibrate test benches and measurement systems for availability and accuracy
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes, efficiency, data management; promote Lean principles and lessons learned
