Responsibilities

  • Underwrite new and renewal business to drive profitable growth of the Retail Property line
  • Assess risk desirability through regular broker contact, coordination with AIG subject matter experts, and reviews of claims history and company information
  • Provide excellent service to brokers with a consistent, timely, and proactive underwriting approach
  • Generate new business by expanding broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships in line with a sales plan
  • Provide accurate monthly management information, including submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium
