Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and experience in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for firmware enhancements and new products is required. Strong knowledge of firmware, including DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers, EFI applications, and BIOS/UEFI is necessary, along with the ability to analyze designs and determine coding and integration activities.

Responsibilities

The UEFI Engineer will design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of firmware, analyze design and determine coding activities, write and execute testing plans, debug issues, and lead project teams to develop reliable firmware solutions. They will also collaborate with management and development partners, provide guidance to less-experienced staff, and represent the firmware engineering team for complex development projects.
