Comprehensive industry knowledge of trading cards and other sports and TCG collectibles
Expert in PSA’s authentication and grading standards
Detail-oriented with good research and organization skills
Ability to focus on cards over long periods of time
Ability to work in an assembly line-type of environment
1-3 years of card authentication and/or grading experience as a professional, dealer, or collector
Current on hobby trends and news
First-hand knowledge of trading cards and other sports and TCG collectibles
Expert in various counterfeits and counterfeiting/card doctoring methods across all categories
Expert-level understanding of card grading system and standards
Strong research skills with attention to detail on defects and misalignments
Effective problem-solving abilities
Strong organization skills to achieve production goals and maximize productivity
Ability to work in a close team environment
Thrives in a high-paced environment
Physical ability to type, use mouse, sit/look at computer for long periods; regular hand use; hear alarms/signals/instructions; lift/carry up to 40 pounds; sit/stand for extended periods; use vision aids in dim lighting

Responsibilities

Become an expert in eBay’s published card condition standards
Become an expert in eBay’s AG processing standards
Authenticate and evaluate the condition of trading cards in an expedient manner without compromising accuracy
Maintain individual authentication production goals
Improve knowledge and skill with personal research and experience
Stay up-to-date with current industry developments and news, especially new counterfeits and alteration methods
Share knowledge to help improve the skill of the Authentication team
Engage with and participate in monthly meetings and re-training sessions with the PSA Grading team
Assist the PSA Grading team if/when necessary in their traditional grading environment
