Requirements

  • 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in tool development, pipeline automation, or production engineering
  • High proficiency working with both C++ and Python in a professional environment
  • Experience interacting with Asset Management systems, and an understanding of asset management pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently analyze large codebases and quickly diagnose complex maintenance issues
  • Strong understanding of the full asset pipeline, from DCC creation to final in-engine game setup
  • A highly collaborative approach and proven experience bridging the needs between engineering and creative teams

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and stabilize proprietary backend systems critical for content and large-scale data pipeline integrity
  • Architect and develop new tools using C++ and Python to automate key tasks and fill workflow gaps
  • Customize and extend the Unreal Engine Editor using C++ and scripting to provide highly tailored features for our content teams
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to rapidly prototype and deploy intuitive, user-friendly applications
  • Ensure code health and system robustness through code reviews, debugging, and performance profiling
  • Create clear documentation and training on all new tool features to ensure smooth adoption by the development team
