Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Assess patients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling, support, and in-the-moment interventions using evidence-based techniques
  • Educate patients on conditions, self-care, treatment engagement, and aftercare
  • Document patient progress, sessions, goals, and interventions timely
  • Collaborate with internal/external professionals to coordinate care
  • Report and document suspected physical, sexual abuse, and/or neglect per law and policy
  • Maintain professional conduct and ethical standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
  • Support clinical initiatives, projects, and system-wide improvements
  • Demonstrate regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, State agencies)
  • Ensure patient and facility safety
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining knowledge of processes, protocols, and procedures
