Requirements
- Active and unrestricted state license to practice independently as a Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, LCPC, LPCC) in Illinois (willingness to obtain additional state licensure if requested, paid by Talkiatry)
- Demonstrated experience caring for a diverse mix of patients receiving mental health treatment for anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions
- Excellent clinical knowledge, communication, and organizational skills
- Technical proficiency with the ability to learn new or streamlined EMR tools
- Commitment to high-quality, accessible, cost-effective health care and practicing to the highest ethical standards
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychotherapy and coordinated care for patients
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, and support staff to diagnose, manage, and treat patients using a wide variety of interventions and modalities
- Work independently while collaborating with the team
- Utilize custom technology, including integrated EMR, for patient messaging, tracking progress, and gaining insights into outcomes
- Ensure patient needs are met by listening, communicating clearly, addressing concerns, coordinating care, and taking accountability for outcomes
- Engage in continuous improvement by seeking feedback, participating in professional development, and implementing evidence-based practices
