Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide counseling and support using evidence-based techniques
  • Educate patients on mental health/substance use conditions, self-care, and treatment options
  • Document patient progress, sessions, goals, and interventions within required timelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers, case managers)
  • Report and document suspected cases of physical, sexual abuse, and/or neglect per legal and policy requirements
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical initiatives for continuous improvement
