Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification and at least 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer or similar role, demonstrating proficiency with Test Automation frameworks and tools such as PactFlow, Cypress.io, Selenium, TestNG, and CodedUI. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Azure, Azure DevOps, and serverless architecture is required. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including TDD and BDD, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Test Automation Engineer will design, maintain, and document governance principles and ways of working. They will design, develop, and maintain all elements of system testing and test automation, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to write clean, scalable, and efficient code. The role involves troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing software, participating in code reviews, and contributing to team knowledge sharing. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively, while demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills within a team setting.
