Requirements

Capable of lifting and moving up to 70 pounds of product during the shift
Capable of lifting 40 pounds plus
Capable of operating a forklift
Capable of visually inspecting product by the box or pallet
Good hand/eye coordination
Must be able to work in a very cold environment with slippery surfaces
Capable of working in excess of 8 hours per shift and up to 6 or 7 days per week when required
Must be able to maneuver freely throughout the plant
Must be able to tolerate walking and standing for the duration of the shift
Must be able to use hands for lifting, bending, and twisting
Must be able to use knives, scissors, and other hand tools
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be 21 years of age or older
Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days and no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods

Responsibilities

Assisting the supervisor with product flow and process efficiency
Assisting the supervisor with product quality
Assisting the supervisor with team member training
Doing inventory on the yard
Keeping cooler and loading dock clean
Fueling trucks
Back up jockey driver
All other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead
