Responsibilities
- Maintains equipment necessary to support production services, contributing to energy savings
- Performs pre-maintenance activities (shutting down equipment, closing valves, releasing residual energy) according to supervisor instructions, adhering to required safety permits for high-risk activities (confined spaces, heights, fire, pipeline intervention, electrical issues)
- Executes Contingency Plans in response to equipment failures in Fuel, Steam, Electrical, Ammonia (NH3), CO₂, compressed air, and water conditioning systems, supporting the contingency control team and performing containment activities to immediately repair equipment, minimizing production impact
- Works with supervisors to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and food safety certifications, following HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures for food safety and NEEC (New Certification Scheme for Certified Companies) and ISO 9001 guidelines, performing tasks according to established procedures to meet required standards
- Operates the following equipment: Boilers and Turbines (monitors equipment parameters, water levels, and chemical treatment); Air Compressors (monitors equipment parameters, closed circuits, and makes adjustments to compressor networks); Ammonia Compressors (monitors equipment availability and maintains cooling temperatures within parameters to ensure product quality); CO₂ Chains (operates the CO₂ recovery system, monitors equipment parameters, and adjusts compressor settings)
