Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum of two years of experience maintaining aviation maintenance records, such as Production Control, Quality Assurance, or record keeping/data entry and auditing experience in a similar industry. They should be familiar with the airline industry and Operations Procedure/General Maintenance Manuals, as well as Federal Aviation regulations (FARs) related to Aircraft Recordkeeping and retention requirements. Proficiency in updating complex record keeping systems like TRAX eMRO and Flydocs, along with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Products, is required. Strong critical thinking, analytical, and attention to detail skills are necessary, along with professional communication and the ability to read and understand technical data, including Maintenance Manual Programs and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals. Authorization to work in the US is mandatory, and candidates must pass a Criminal Background Check.
The Technical Records Specialist I will be responsible for analyzing, reconciling, and auditing aircraft maintenance records in TRAX and other databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FAA requirements and company policies. This includes monitoring and updating TRAX eMRO and Flydocs to track maintenance accomplishment, auditing and correcting tracking of aircraft hours, and identifying discrepancies and hazards. The role also involves scanning and updating aircraft maintenance work packages, verifying maintenance is accomplished within required time limits, and ensuring compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Life Limited Parts Removal. Additionally, the Specialist will assist in ensuring compliance with 121.380 and other relevant regulations.
