Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum of three years of experience as an Allegiant Records Technician, or experience at a Part 91, 121, 135 operator, 145 repair station, or DOD transport aircraft records department. They should have knowledge of FAA Airworthiness Directives (AD’s), IPC’s, Service Bulletins, and Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s) related to aircraft recordkeeping. Proficiency in understanding required documentation for life-limited component traceability, as well as certification documentation for new, overhauled, and repaired components from suppliers and maintenance providers, is also required. Strong written and oral communication skills, project management skills, and the ability to interpret technical documents such as CFM Chapter 5, ALS Appendix 7, and IPC are necessary. Experience with ERP tracking software like AIS, TRAX eMRO, AMOS, and electronic recordkeeping systems such as Flydocs, AirVault, AIS, Trax, or similar is preferred, along with proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Products. Authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986 and the ability to pass a Criminal Background Check are mandatory.
The Technical Records Assembly Specialist II is responsible for continuously analyzing and managing aircraft engine, APU, and landing gear assembly back to birth records to ensure compliance with 14 CFR 121.380. They identify, reconcile, and manage discrepancies with external repair vendors, OEM, and prior operators. The Specialist II coordinates with Powerplant Engineering, Fleet Planning, Materials, Component Repairs, Planning, Fleet Assets and other internal departments regarding scheduled and unscheduled assembly removals and installations. They will also monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across North America and develop HR policies to ensure compliance, conduct audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies. The Specialist II must be available on-call after hours to support maintenance discrepancy issues.
