Requirements

2-4 Years of hands-on experience with Level 2+ or Level 3 autonomy, with direct involvement in architecture, development, validation, and regulatory alignment
Business level of Japanese - Fluent English
Structured and systems-level thinker with the ability to translate complex technical, regulatory, and user considerations

Responsibilities

Define and own the product roadmap for Level 2 and Level 3 autonomous driving features, aligning with company strategy, customer needs, and regulatory frameworks
Work closely with system architects, software developers, validation teams, and safety experts to ensure delivery of robust and regulation-compliant AV features
Take full end-to-end ownership of AV feature development, from concept definition through implementation, validation, and deployment in production vehicles
Translate regulatory and safety requirements into clear product specifications, functional intents, and performance KPIs for autonomous driving systems
Stay current with global AV trends, regulatory developments, and competitors to take the best product decisions
Support verification & validation, safety case development, and type approval processes by ensuring requirements traceability and measurable performance targets
Act as the product lead in internal reviews and external engagements, clearly communicating feature scope, assumptions, and risk management strategies
