Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in game development, preferably in mobile or stylized GaaS titles, with a proven track record across full production cycles. A strong grasp of visual design principles, solid Unity experience including uGUI, Shader Graph or Amplify, and Animation/Timeline systems is required. Experience creating stylized shaders for VFX and gameplay, familiarity with Unity editor tools and custom inspectors, and proficiency in 2D/3D tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, or Maya are also necessary. A portfolio showcasing stylized UI/UX, VFX, or technical art systems is a plus.
The Senior Technical Artist will design and implement modular UI/UX systems, create custom shaders and materials for various game elements, and build tween-based animation systems and shader-based responsive feedback effects. They will support gameplay teams with technical visual solutions, develop and integrate screen-space FX and postprocessing effects, and contribute to VFX design for in-game actions. Additionally, they will prototype and maintain tools to streamline art production and optimize pipelines, and create basic 3D models or animations as needed.
