Requirements

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with extensive experience in Python and SQL focused on data. The role requires over 10 years of experience managing multiple customer-focused implementation projects across cross-functional teams and building sustainable processes.

Responsibilities

The Tech Lead will lead the Scientific Data Engineering Team, build the Tetra Data foundation, and mentor junior team members. Responsibilities include leading design sessions, architecting solutions, collaborating with Product Managers and Solution Architects to gather requirements and build production-ready solutions, and owning the development of data models, prototypes, and integration solutions. The Tech Lead will also research and prototype data acquisition strategies, design with quality assurance through tests, lead project post-mortems, ensure sprint commitments are met, identify and resolve team inefficiencies, and drive projects to completion by addressing blockers and clarifying requirements.
