Requirements

  • BA/BS in accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years of corporate tax experience, either within industry or public accounting (or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background)
  • Ability to work in-office 1-2 days per week from Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, Las Vegas, NV, or Indianapolis, IN (candidates not within reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless accommodation granted)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement tax technology/transformation projects and initiatives spanning all tax areas
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, or analytics initiatives
  • Prepare federal and state income tax returns in accordance with applicable tax laws
  • Prepare tax provisions and assist in the preparation of related tax disclosures for statutory or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements
  • Assist in the research and analysis of tax developments and their application to specific business situations
  • Assist or lead in other tax department activities, including projects, research, and tax examinations with a focus on process improvement and innovation
