Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with Big 4 experience. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is required, as well as a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax accounting. Applicants should have proven knowledge of federal, state, and international tax/transfer pricing regulations and compliance requirements, with experience working in or with multinational organizations being highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent leadership and organizational skills, and exceptional communication skills are essential. Proficiency with tax software, ERP systems such as Netsuite, and advanced Microsoft Excel is also required.

Responsibilities

The Tax Manager will develop and execute international planning strategies and initiatives, coordinating with outside counsel, tax, and accounting advisors. They will supervise the preparation and timely filing of federal, state, local, and international tax returns by external service providers, oversee the tax provision preparation, and ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. This role involves collaborating closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to integrate tax strategies into broader business objectives, maintaining comprehensive records of tax positions and policies, and liaising with external tax advisors to stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
