Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline
- 3+ years of safety engineering experience
- Experience developing, writing, and reviewing safety documentation
- Self starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision to influence organization
Responsibilities
- Support application of ARP4761 to the Skyryse system including: Functional Hazard Assessments, System Safety Assessments / Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Common Mode Assessments, Reliability Assessments, and Failure Mode and Effects Test Planning/Reporting
- Work with multifunctional teams to implement the safety architecture strategy
- Support systems and subsystems integration activities to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met
- Work with technical leads to build and manage HIL/SIL and equipment lab requirements for failure testing
- Support Continued Operational Safety assessments and fleet reliability after entry into service
- Perform other duties as assigned
