Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline, 3+ years of safety engineering experience, experience developing, writing, and reviewing safety documentation, and must be a self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong candidates have a Bachelor's or higher in Aerospace engineering, knowledge of FAR Part 23/25/27/29, ARP 4761/4754A, DO-178/254/160 and other standards, understanding of reliability principles, familiarity with CAFTA and CAD, plus excellent communication skills and a great attitude.
