Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline
3+ years of safety engineering experience
Experience developing, writing, and reviewing safety documentation
Self starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision to influence organization

Responsibilities

Support application of ARP4761 to the Skyryse system including: Functional Hazard Assessments, System Safety Assessments / Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Common Mode Assessments, Reliability Assessments, and Failure Mode and Effects Test Planning/Reporting
Work with multifunctional teams to implement the safety architecture strategy
Support systems and subsystems integration activities to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met
Work with technical leads to build and manage HIL/SIL and equipment lab requirements for failure testing
Support Continued Operational Safety assessments and fleet reliability after entry into service
Perform other duties as assigned
