Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
  • Legal authorization to work in US (no sponsorship)
  • Ability to travel for business within North America, Europe and Asia (~50-60% travel)
  • Valid full driver's license
  • Currently reside in and around Fort Wayne, Indiana or willing to relocate
  • Preferred: 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Preferred: Experience with AMR/AGV systems integration

Responsibilities

  • Commissioning & integration of AMR systems at client facilities worldwide, including on-site deployment and integration with facility-side automation equipment
  • Daily on-site support at customer sites to capture issues and support system optimization efforts
  • Detailed solutions design of AMR systems using OTTO by Rockwell Automation products (workflow design, attachment design, map design, middle layer software logic using Ignition OPC/UA, FT Optix, PLC logic)
  • Author and execute acceptance test plans for system validation
  • Optimize system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation
  • Project planning for deliverables and work packages owned
  • Communicate technical details and status to customers and project team
  • Consult with integration partners on solutions design and related activities
  • Deliver training to integration partners and end-users
  • Troubleshoot software & hardware issues using internal tools
  • Author new product requirements based on lessons learned
  • Work with systems engineering team to improve tools, processes, and inter-departmental relationships
  • Provide Tier-3 advanced technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Offer after-business-hours rotational on-call escalation support
