Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
  • 4+ years of relevant systems development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on Oracle CPQ (Big Machines) platform
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Big Machines platform
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Big Machines platform features, setups, and technology including BML and BMQL; programming experience with BML is a must
  • Strong understanding of sales processes like opportunities, CPQ quoting, BM commerce, model configurations, pricing, discounting, promotions, approval matrix, and sales orders
  • Expertise in Oracle CPQ Configuration & Commerce Array Sets, XSL, XML, CSS, Jscript
  • Good understanding of the Big Machines data model, data architecture, and data management; familiarity with integrations with other systems like salesforce.com
  • Ability to understand and debug complex Configuration Models
  • Hands-on experience in Integration with third party systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, OFM
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST API usage in CPQ
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with business users, management, and IT personnel
  • Willingness to work second shift from 1 PM IST to 10 PM IST (3:30 PM PST to 12:30 AM PST)
  • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Big Machines CPQ implementation in a salesforce.com environment via managed packages; Oracle Big Machines certifications; optionally, Salesforce.com certifications

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance Oracle CPQ components, configurations, and integrations according to specifications within a team environment
  • Perform systems analysis and prepare detailed system documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans, and user manuals
  • Perform unit and system tests and, as needed, validation testing
  • Configure working prototypes in a development sandbox if required, and validate and refine prototypes
  • Plan, schedule, and implement the Oracle Upgrade program to ensure minimal impact to end users
  • Troubleshoot issues in the CPQ environment and in related integrations
  • Coordinate with Operations staff on deployment of applications
  • Work with business partners to analyze and address support requests to include training
  • Ensure all activities are performed with quality and compliance
