Requirements

  • BS/EE (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Understanding of power supply, high-speed I/O, display, PCI express, Ethernet, and various low-speed I/O (I2C, GPIO, etc.)
  • Good understanding of high-speed signaling principles and concepts related to design
  • Multi-phase switching power supply validation experience (a strong plus)
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BERT, power supplies, logic analyzers)
  • Exposure to various programming and scripting languages (C/C++, Java Script, Linux)
  • Background with Embedded or PC system troubleshooting & bringup (useful)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Ability to analyze sophisticated problems and break them down based on first principles
  • Good teamwork and cross-disciplinary partnership skills

Responsibilities

  • Debug and validate NVIDIA products at the system/board level
  • Perform signal electrical testing and functional checks
  • Build debug reports
  • Collaborate with various engineering teams (design, software, program management, etc.)
  • Develop and implement new validation procedures
  • Define diagnostics for engineering and production builds
