About the Position

We are seeking a highly organized, technical, and detail-oriented individual for the role of Swing Shift Transcription Operations Coordinator. This position involves coordinating client orders, tracking production metrics, and ensuring timely, accurate project delivery. It requires a strong ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and approach technical challenges with a problem-solving mindset.

The role requires familiarity with start-up environments and proficiency with the Google Suite of tools. This position is fully remote and reports to the Transcription Operations Manager.

Pacific Timezone Swing Shift: 12AM Pacific - 8AM Pacific (Potential flexibility: 10/11PM - 6/7AM Pacific)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client orders, communicate deadlines
  • Understand details of client requirements regarding formatting and notation
  • Track and report production metrics
  • Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and have been reviewed for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting requirements prior to submission
  • Familiarity with start-up environments
  • Familiarity and fluency with Google Suite of tools
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Cross-train to cover additional products as required
  • Create transcripts using E-Transcript/Adobe Acrobat

Required Qualifications

  • College or university degree
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to navigate web tools and clearly report issues to the Operations Manager (no coding required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
  • Proofreading, editing experience
  • We prioritize candidates that are located in the Pacific Time Zone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with legal industry practices and/or experience in legal or transcription services
  • 2+ years of experience in operation roles
  • Experience using court reporting software (e.g., RealLegal)
  • Exposure to technical operations or working with web-based tools and platforms is a plus

Compensation

The pay for this full-time hourly employee position is up to $23/hr; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
