Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience of at least 6 years in accounting/finance
Experience in Shared Service Centers
B2+ English level (fluent in written and spoken English)
MS Office proficiency: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook - Excel intermediate
2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
Extensive knowledge of accounts payable processes, systems, and standard methodologies
Proficiency in accounting software and at least one ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JDEdwards and/or Mainframe)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external vendors
High level of integrity, professionalism, commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
Ability to get results with urgency and accountability
Embraces and champions new ideas and solutions

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable Team, providing guidance, training, and support for high performance and professional development
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and payments
Oversee reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies or issues
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues
Maintain engagement and communication via phone, email, chat or other means with internal and external customers
Implement and maintain internal controls for compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics and reports to identify improvements and implement standard methodologies
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function
