Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
Professional Engineering (PE) License required (preferred in skills section)
5-10 or more years of experience required
Experience with Bentley Microstation and AutoCAD required
Experience with the design of utility-scale electrical substation and transmission systems required
Experience with structural design of electrical substations steel structures and their foundations required
Exposure to Business Management Software (SAP/Maximo) preferred
Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

Design utility-scale electrical substation and transmission systems
Responsible for structural design of electrical substations steel structures and their foundations
Prepares complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
Provides guidance and direction on design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes
Assists in developing, maintaining and updating engineering standards
Provides technical guidance to others regarding projects and disciplines
Perform quality reviews of project deliverables
Attend and/or conduct client and project meetings
Maintain excellent client relations
Promote sales
Review scope, budget and schedule for project tasks
Assist with proposals, marketing, project reports and technical presentations
Maintain a safe working environment
