Understanding of various Storage & Backup services
Experience thriving in large, geographically dispersed enterprise environments
Experience with multi-datacenter stretch clusters
Deep knowledge on Backup software integration/configuration with commonly used applications (e.g., SQL, Oracle, VMWare, NAS shares)
Knowledge of Backup technologies (Data Domain, Avamar, PPDM, Cloud Native)
High learning agility and Infrastructure operations/engineering skills
Ability to provide technical expertise and leadership

Responsibilities

Drive global technical operations of Storage & Backups within Infrastructure Hosting Platform
Develop and support engineering and operations of Storage and Backup Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) capabilities on-premises and in Public Cloud
Enhance infrastructure availability and reliability through repeatable patterns, innovative architectural designs, and improved observability
Guide operations teams and collaborate with platform infrastructure SMEs to deliver daily operations
Adopt AI OPS, Event Driven Automation, and robust Observability to prevent fixing the same problem twice
Accelerate initiatives in Infrastructure AI OPS automation, cloud IaaS management, and cloud infrastructure as code
Transform operations processes using proactive, predictive, and automated AI & Observability capabilities
Provide operational support and implementation services for backup and recovery, high availability architecture, and data replication for disaster recovery
Lead and coordinate Backup technical and business discussions
Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
