The Stat Programmer will manage a team of statistical programming staff, including hiring, training, and supervising them, and will develop and implement standard procedures, measures of performance, and training programs. They will also serve as a technical consultant for the department, maintain knowledge of statistical programming developments, participate in major projects, provide expert review of process and methodology development, and collaborate with project leads to address work scheduling and staffing needs.
