The internship is for a duration of 6 months.
The position is onsite at the GE Healthcare site in Buc (78), near Versailles.
Candidates must be in their final year of engineering school specializing in mechanics/materials, with practice in CFD or FEA software preferably ANSYS Fluent, knowledge of CAD software like CREO, Pro Engineer, CATIA, or Solidworks, and strong writing, analysis, autonomy, curiosity, and communication skills. French fluency and professional English are required.
You will join the engineering team ISS XRay Generation specialized in designing and maintaining high-voltage generators and X-ray tubes, working under a mechanical engineer in a collaborative environment with cross-functional and international teams in R&D for medical imaging devices.
Strong candidates are final-year engineering students in mechanics/materials with hands-on experience in CFD/FEA (especially ANSYS Fluent) and CAD software, plus demonstrated autonomy, analytical skills, curiosity, and proficiency in French and English.
