Requirements

Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
8+ years of software development experience with expertise in a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.)
Proven leadership in guiding project teams and setting technical direction
Deep knowledge in a technical domain and experience designing distributed systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Backstage), and strong written communication for design/architecture documentation
Preferred qualifications
Experience working directly with end customers and stakeholders
Experience working at a software product company
Demonstrated large scale business impact from delivered solutions
Interest and ability to learn new coding paradigms and languages

Responsibilities

Own the vision, roadmap, execution, and technical direction for a broad functional area, setting priorities for the team
Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical specs, oversee design, scope projects, and drive deliverables
Lead and review major software designs, advocate for innovative, forward-looking technical strategies, and improve development processes
Ensure compliance by working closely with privacy, security, and quality teams, while managing project priorities and deadlines independently
Mentor team members on design techniques, coding standards, and support their technical growth
