Requirements

  • Experience crafting delightful consumer design, with a portfolio that elicits "nice" reactions and remains user-centered while balancing innovation with intuitiveness
  • A bias for action, thriving as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment where you wear many hats and bring ideas to life
  • Comfort with ambiguity, always learning and growing, and able to bring clarity to fast-moving problem spaces with more questions than answers
  • Expertise in Figma (bonus for skills in animated prototypes and building/maintaining design system components)
  • A love of music (listening, exploring, making) is a huge plus
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • Ability to work onsite in New York, Boston, or Los Angeles

Responsibilities

  • Elevate the design of the web and mobile app experience across platforms, driving end-to-end designs primarily for the web app on desktop and mobile, with involvement in other surfaces
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, and other teams to incorporate the best ideas from anywhere
  • Hold an incredibly high standard for quality and craft, focusing on little details like pixel-perfection, microinteractions, and motion design
  • Innovate by pushing the boundaries of UI and UX while keeping the user experience intuitive and engaging
