Candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field, along with a strong background in machine learning research demonstrated by publications or significant contributions to the field. Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX is required, alongside knowledge of advanced AI architectures including transformers, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning techniques. Familiarity with pre-training, fine-tuning, and evaluating LLMs such as LLaMA, Mistral, and Qwen is a significant plus, and programming skills in Python or similar languages are essential.
Staff and Principal AI Researchers will conduct cutting-edge research to advance Inworld AI’s AI models and capabilities, develop and implement novel machine learning techniques, train and evaluate large-scale ML models, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into products, communicate research results internally and publicly, and mentor junior researchers and engineers fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Creates AI non-player characters for gaming
Inworld AI develops artificial intelligence non-player characters (NPCs) for video games, focusing on creating characters with unique personalities and contextual awareness. Their technology includes features like memory, emotional intelligence, and narrative controls, allowing NPCs to learn and adapt within the game environment. Unlike competitors, Inworld AI's solutions are built by the team behind Dialogflow, ensuring they are production-ready and scalable without extra configuration. The company's goal is to enhance gaming experiences by providing developers with advanced tools for creating immersive and interactive characters.
