Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 4+ years of proven full-stack development experience
  • Extensive hands-on experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js)
  • Proficiency in modern software development practices including DevOps, microservices architectures, automation frameworks, and API development
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (specifically MongoDB)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior cloud hosting experience, particularly with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience developing event-driven systems utilizing publish/subscribe messaging patterns
  • Prior experience working with real-time data streaming and analytics

Responsibilities

  • Technical Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, develop, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable full-stack applications using the MEAN stack within a cloud-hosted serverless infrastructure
  • Integrate applications with external systems and APIs using modern, secure, and efficient techniques
  • Establish and implement automated testing frameworks and processes, ensuring robust code quality and reliability
  • Utilize cloud services effectively, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), to optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Business Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Product Management, Client Success, and Engineering teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables
  • Provide clear, consistent, and transparent communication to stakeholders regarding development progress, risks, and solutions
  • General Responsibilities
  • Provide technical mentorship and best practice guidance to junior developers and teammates
  • Regularly review and enforce coding standards, updating and improving technical standards as required
