Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 8 years of experience in building and shipping commercial mobile software for the iOS platform, with expert-level proficiency in Swift and Objective-C. A strong understanding of Xcode, Interface Builder, and the iOS SDK is required, along with experience in design patterns and best practices for iOS development. Proven experience with unit testing frameworks, a passion for writing clean and well-tested code, and a track record of developing highly scalable designs are essential. Stellar communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, along with good troubleshooting abilities using native tools, profilers, and debuggers, are also necessary. A BS in Computer Science or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates who thrive in dynamic startup environments and have a strong passion for mobile development.

Responsibilities

The Staff iOS Engineer will be responsible for designing, estimating, developing, and maintaining high-quality, performant, and user-friendly iOS applications. This includes collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to realize product vision. Key duties involve writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices, and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests. The role also entails conducting unit and integration tests, participating in code reviews, and actively contributing to a strong development culture. Staying current with the latest iOS technologies and frameworks, efficiently identifying and troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior developers are also core responsibilities.
