Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required
  • Professional designation (CPA, CIA, CFE) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in audit or related accounting/finance roles required
  • Solid understanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) required. Fluency in a second European language (German or Spanish) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously and learn new tools
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (including occasional international/overnight travel)

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of various internal audits across the Europe region, including Anti-Corruption reviews, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOx) compliance, financial audits, and operational audits
  • Assist on various projects across the Europe region (and other regions as needed) encompassing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, operational, financial, and specialized audits
  • Review Sarbanes-Oxley site controls, including assessment of control design, testing operating effectiveness of key controls, and completion of testing work-papers
  • Conduct financial audits, including review and testing of key Balance Sheet accounts, financial reporting, and other special projects
  • Perform operational audits, including evaluation of business processes and procedures, identification of operational improvement areas, and recommendations of best practices and standardization
  • Conduct other compliance reviews, including assessment of Anti-Corruption practices in accordance with Corporate policies and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)
  • Apply professional accounting and auditing principles, and Corporate Policies and Procedures to projects
  • Prepare clear and concise audit documentation, including workpapers, findings, and recommendations
  • Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including management, process owners, and other team members
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve audit processes and contribute to the team’s overall effectiveness
  • Actively pursue professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge
