Requirements

U.K. nationality or ability to undergo U.K. national security vetting and clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in test design engineering or a related field
Proficiency in LabVIEW and TestStand
Experience with automated test systems, functional testing, environmental testing
Solid understanding of Lean Sigma principles and tools
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a cross-discipline team environment
Understanding of Structured Design
Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers
Familiarity with lab test/measurement equipment and lab tools
Strong understanding of the full product realisation process (Conceptualise, Design, Commercialise, Manufacture, Fulfil, and Sustain)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and verify test solutions for products
Develop innovative test concepts and designs using appropriate tools and equipment
Perform design creation, analysis, and verification
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product life cycle, from conceptualisation to sustaining engineering
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in accordance with quality and change management procedures
Actively contribute to a Lean culture by applying Lean Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste, and improve processes
Lead the growing test team in the UK
