Candidates should possess 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 7 years of working experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Expert knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, or SQLite is required, along with a background in shipping high-quality software. Familiarity with C++ and/or Rust is considered a plus, as is the ability to work effectively with a distributed team, requiring strong asynchronous written and verbal communication skills. A keen interest in AI and a commitment to Mozilla's values are also important.
The Full Stack Engineer will build high-quality user interfaces and experiences for Firefox, focusing on accessibility and usability. Responsibilities include writing code and tests, developing prototypes, solving complex problems, and collaborating with designers and engineers to improve the web. The role involves learning about diverse problems and solutions within a large codebase, working with multi-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of engineering practices.
