Requirements

Candidates should possess 6+ years of IT industry experience, with at least 4 years of coding experience in Python frameworks and libraries, and hold Python certification. Proficiency in Python, AWS cloud technologies (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, KMS, RDS, Encryption), Terraform, Docker, BitBucket, Git, API Gateway, JSON, XML, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and Lucid charting tools is required. Experience managing PII data and performing software performance testing, tuning, and debugging is also necessary. Strong team handling and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

The Staff Engineer will design, code, and support Experian's decisioning and data solutions, developing high-quality, scalable Python-based solutions. They will collaborate with partners to define project requirements, participate in code and design reviews, and adopt platform architecture, security standards, and SDLC processes. Responsibilities include ensuring code quality, security, and performance through rigorous testing, reviewing and improving existing code, mentoring junior developers, and staying updated on industry trends. The engineer will take ownership of projects from conception to delivery, attend sprint reviews, provide project reports, and highlight/mitigate project risks.
