Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in embedded systems development and testing
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in embedded software/firmware verification for robotics, motion control, thermal control, sonication, or optics systems using test case management tools such as Helix, TestRail, or Zephyr and CI/CD tools including Jenkins or GitLab
Minimum 5 years of experience developing automated test frameworks using Python and working knowledge of embedded C/C++ for firmware validation
Minimum 4 years of experience designing and implementing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test platforms for embedded systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in regulated industries such as diagnostics, medical devices, avionics, or automotive with proficiency in system-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and sensor logging devices

Responsibilities

Develop and implement firmware verification strategies for diagnostic/medical devices in collaboration with Verification Architect, including scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using Python and firmware engineering tools/API/SDK
Design and execute formal verification protocols and comprehensive test suites covering low-level drivers to complex system behaviors, including black-box and white-box testing, with full documentation of test methods, plans, cases, and results
Build and maintain automated Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments for repeatable firmware testing on target hardware platforms
Author verification plans, protocols, and reports compliant with IEC 62304 and FDA submission requirements for diagnostic/medical device software
Integrate automated firmware tests into CI/CT pipelines using DBS Tools to enable continuous verification and provide actionable feedback to development teams
