Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience in electronics hardware development and testing including schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware characterization testing, and automated test implementation
  • Proficiency with electrical test equipment including power supplies, loads, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers, etc
  • Strong documentation skills for test procedures, results, analysis, etc
  • Demonstrated success working in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the custom functional test equipment design from clean sheet to flight hardware production test
  • Develop functional test PCBA and other hardware requirements, architectures, and con-ops in collaboration with other engineering disciplines
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout of power, digital, and analog instrumentation circuit PCBAs using Altium Designer
  • Develop test strategies and plans in collaboration with flight HW designers and other engineering disciplines
  • PCBA and other HW manufacturing, design validation, and integration of automated test systems
  • Circuit simulation and analysis in SPICE, Excel, etc
  • Support SW engineers in the development of automated test control software
  • Execute flight hardware qualification and production acceptance testing including ambient functional and environmental tests
  • Support DUT anomaly resolution
  • Contribute to the development of engineering and production best practices to support most efficient manufacturing
