Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience
  • Expert in Front-End UI development using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Experience with headless CMS (Contentful) and React platforms (Next.js) is a big plus
  • Strong knowledge of responsive web design and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform development (Desktop, Mobile, etc.) and testing
  • Proven ability to optimize front-end code for performance using tools such as PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, or WebPageTest
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and development tools
  • Proficient with version control using Git
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong English communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop web pages and features that enhance Dialpad’s web presence and internal engineering productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and content to implement new pages, updates, and optimization tests
  • Maintain and optimize dialpad.com and the web stack, performing updates, fixes, and browser compatibility testing
  • Ensure technical excellence by conducting code reviews, testing for cross-browser and cross-platform functionality, and following best practices for front-end development
  • Optimize for performance and usability by improving load times, structuring pages for search engines and LLMs, and integrating analytics tracking
  • Participate in ongoing web improvement initiatives, proposing solutions that reduce overhead and improve engineer efficiency
  • Provide support for urgent requests, resolving web issues and assisting stakeholders with technical questions
