Experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for enhancements and new products (e.g., operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, Internet-related tools)
Knowledge of hardware compatibility and/or influencing hardware design

Responsibilities

Develop automation tools for the engineering organization to enable building, testing, and releasing software
Work with internal test teams to develop and enhance tools for integrating product hardware into Openstack infrastructure using Ironic
Update and enhance testbed automation client tools and backend services for virtual and hardware testbeds
Integrate new tooling and services into the Robot Framework test platform
Cloudify existing tools to enable automation of cloud-based resources
Develop cloud-ready tools for testbed generation and test automation
Improve efficiency, scalability, and operability of existing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Drive proper use of programming best practices and tool documentation
Enhance automated test coverage of tools to increase stability and reliability
Work with the team to enhance the release process for tooling for faster and more consistent deployment
Provide input on areas where tooling can be improved from emerging technologies
Participate in design and code reviews
