Candidates should have 4-6 years of full-stack software engineering experience with a proven track record of building clear, maintainable code and engineering large-scale systems. Strong experience with Python or comparable server-side languages such as Java or Node is required, along with experience in frontend technologies using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field is preferred, or applicable experience in the industry is acceptable. Candidates should also have experience with functional and unit testing, metrics and monitoring tools for performance optimization, and cloud-based technical solutions. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential, as well as effective communication skills across various groups and cultures.
The Senior Software Engineer will independently ship small to large features and collaborate with other senior engineers to deliver key initiatives. They will mentor fellow software engineers to enhance the platform and play a key role in shaping the team's roadmap and technical strategy. The engineer will operate within a team that follows best practices for software development, including documentation, comprehensive testing, CI/CD hygiene, and code instrumentation.
