Requirements

  • 5–6 years of experience in report development, data modeling, and analytics
  • 5–6 years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization
  • 2–3 years of experience in ETL and OLAP development (e.g., SSIS, SSAS, or similar platforms)
  • Strong hands-on experience in developing and optimizing dashboards and analytical reports
  • Strong hands-on experience utilizing advanced platform features for KPIs, bookmarks, workspace management, security, and administration
  • Strong hands-on experience in data transformation and calculations using modern query languages and analytical expressions
  • Strong hands-on experience in predictive modeling and advanced analytics with Python or R
  • Experience working with Azure Data Services, Azure Machine Learning, or Power Platform AI Builder (preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience in developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports (preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Pro features (KPIs, bookmarks, workspace management, RLS, Gateway administration etc.) (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data mart creation, and semantic modeling (preferred)
  • Proven ability to deliver forecasting, trend analysis, and anomaly detection via Power BI and Python/R (preferred)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, external connections, pivot tables, etc.) (preferred)
  • Integration of external data via REST APIs (preferred)
  • Experience with Power BI Embedded or embedding Power Apps in external portals (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI Custom visuals, advanced interactivity, AI-integrated dashboards, and mobile-ready reports (preferred)
  • Experience with Power Apps: App development, Dataverse integration, automation via Power Automate (preferred)
  • Python / R: Predictive analytics, machine learning integration (preferred)
  • SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL): Complex query design for data retrieval and manipulation (preferred)
  • Power Query (M) and DAX: Advanced transformations and business logic (preferred)
  • SSIS & SSAS: ETL workflows and tabular modeling (preferred)
  • Security: Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace governance, data access control (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
  • Knowledge of People/HR-related reporting and metrics (headcount, attrition, recruitment, performance, etc.) (preferred)
  • Experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) such as OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, or similar (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Services, AI Builder, or similar AI tools (nice to have)
  • CI/CD experience with Power Platform (via Azure DevOps or GitHub) (nice to have)
  • Experience with Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, or other modern data platforms (nice to have)
