Requirements

Passionate and experienced Ruby on Rails Software Engineer
Experience with Ruby 3.2.8 and Rails 7.2
Familiarity with GraphQL for backend and frontend communication
Knowledge of Public JSON Rest API and webhooks for customer data consumption
Proficiency with AWS as the product's hosting platform
Experience with React, Typescript, and SCSS for frontend development
Familiarity with key technologies like Sidekiq, Redis, ElasticSearch, and WebSocket
Ability to work in Agile development with bi-weekly deployments
Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration using tools like Jira, Slack, Zoom, Confluence, and GitLab
Proactive leadership and ability to take ideas from concept to production
Commitment to testing as a core part of the development process
Ability to collaborate across geographically diverse teams (North America and EMEA)

Responsibilities

Turn high-level ideas and designs into fully accessible and functional features
Work within cross-functional teams, collaborating with product owners, designers, and platform engineers to influence and deliver ambitious milestones
Build, enhance, and deliver features that customers will love
Ensure top-notch quality through rigorous testing
Review existing processes, adopt the latest technologies, and tackle complex problems
Participate in continuous collaboration with product owners to define reasonable deadlines
Contribute to code reviews via GitLab, focusing on substance with linters
Work with the dedicated QA team to identify and resolve issues, bugs, and cross-browser glitches
Document work using Confluence to evolve team knowledge
Push initiatives forward from concept to production while maintaining work-life balance
