Responsibilities

  • Ensure eLearning content complies with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA (preferably AAA) and other relevant accessibility regulations
  • Conduct accessibility evaluations and guide remediation efforts for new and existing digital learning content
  • Provide input on best practices for inclusive learning design, including visual, auditory, and interaction-based considerations
  • Partner with instructional designers, multimedia specialists, developers, visual designers, editorial, and QA to embed accessibility principles early in the content development lifecycle
  • Review storyboards, visuals, and final outputs to identify and mitigate accessibility gaps
  • Facilitate training sessions or build resources to upskill teams on accessibility awareness and best practices
  • Contribute to process improvements, tool evaluations, and innovations in digital learning delivery
  • Conduct manual (NVDA, JAWS, etc.) and automated accessibility testing of learning content
  • Leverage AI-powered accessibility tools to scale testing and detect compliance issues faster
  • Evaluate opportunities to use AI in improving accessibility workflows (e.g., alt-text generation, voice description)
